April Favorites ♥

Thanks everyone for the congrats messages about baby Aiden~!  I can't believe it's already May~ time flies by so fast!  Soon it will be September... and baby AIden will be in my arms! I filmed a video today on my favorite beauty products for the month of April.  Two of the products mentioned were a gift from my friend when she went to Korea.  I've read on my video comments that some of my subscribers use these two products as well, so I'm guessing you can find them somewhere in the USA (maybe online)?  I will try my best ot see if I can find a website that sell these products!

BTW in the video I accidently said I use the face masks once a DAY... I meant to say once a WEEK. ♥ That would be crazy if I do it everyday! hehe

First of all, I LOVE the packaging of this lipgloss!  It has a cute "but mad looking" bunny on the top of the cap.  This was my first time ever using a Tony Moly product, and I was pretty impressed with this brand!  I'm not a huge fan of lipglosses because I don't like the texture of it on my lips.  Most of the lipglosses that I've tried feel thick and sticky.  This lipgloss on the other hand, does not leave a sticky feeling and glides on very well.  It applies sheer so I apply 2-3 coats of it.  The color from the tube looks dark orange but it doesn't look that dark when you apply it onto your lips.  It's a very pretty shimmery orange/coral color... great for the spring/summer!

Here is how the color looks from the tube.  You have to twist it from the bottom for it to come out.. like a chapstick! 

Here is how it looks on my lips.  Since my natural lip color is red, I put on some foundation on my lips before I applied the lipgoss so that the true gloss color shows.

Oh my goodness~ I am totally in LOVE with my Sonia Kashuk brushes.  I've heard a lot of great things about the Sonia Kashuk EYE MAKEUP BRUSHES, so I wanted to try them out.  Some people told me that the face brushes weren't as great...but the eye brushes are awesome!  I bought my two Sonia Kashuk brushes from target :  Large Crease Brush ($5.99), Pointy Blending Brush ($3.99).  These brushes have great quality and for a very good price.  A lot of cheap makeup brushes have bristles that are not as soft, so it pokes you and hurts when you use it.  These brushes are very soft... exactly the same as my Sigma brushes.  I highly recommend these eye makeup brushes to those who are looking for cheap/good quality brushes!
