My Pregnancy Must Haves ♥

Hey everyone!  I decided to share my must have items that has helped me throughout my pregnancy until now (which I am currently 22 weeks).  Hopefully this video will be helpful for those that are currently pregnant, plan to get pregnant, or know of something that is currently pregnant!  Since every pregnancy is different, some of these items might work for you or it might now.  These are just items that has worked for me.

My Current Works ♥

Hey everyone!  Hope all of you guys had a great 3 day weekend!  I spent the whole Memorial Day with my parents~ what did you guys do?  So this past weekend, I did makeup for another client's photoshoot.  I did two different looks on her and wanted to share my work with you guys!  The photos were taken by Aiden (for those who don't know, my hubby is a freelance photographer!). 

The first look is a special occasion smokey eyes makeup.  She wanted to look "sexy", so I used dark eyeshadows on her and a bronzer instead of a pink blush. 

This second look was a Boa inspired cat eye look from her music video "Copy & Paste".  I changed the makeup around alittle bit to suit her face... so it doesn't look exactly like Boa's makeup from the video.  I tried applying the long false lashes on her bottom lashline, but it looked really weird on her!  This makeup looked really great on her~ she really did look like a cat~~ MeOwwww hehe

New House Tour & Decorating the Crib ♥

Hey everyone!  The crib & dresser finally arrived yesterday so we decided to film a video of us decorating the crib and also a mini house tour~!  We did recently move to the South and no longer live in the east coast =(.  I really miss our wooden floors from our previous Boston home, but I really like this place too! It's so cozy and big!  We are planning to move to a house or a town home in a year or so after baby Aiden turns atleast one, and when I'm pregnant with our 2nd baby! 

We washed all of the bedding stuff before we placed it in the crib.  It's important that you wash everything new before it gets placed in the crib for the baby.  I will wash it one more time when I'm closer to my due date.  My parents told me not to keep the musical mobile above the baby at ALL times because the baby can get cross eyed from starring at it all the time.  I will take the mobile off from time to time to prevent that from happening! We are also aware that the side crib bumpers can be dangerous because it can suffocate the baby. We will be removing the bumpers whenever baby Aiden is sleeping.  Ahhhh I'm soooo IN LOVE with our dresser & crib!  We went for the cream/tan color theme because it's a neutral color.  We can use this same bedding set for our 2nd/3rd child whether it's a girl or a boy.  We will be adding more colorful items (blue, yellow, etc) like toys and bears so that there will be various colors around the baby.   Anywayz, hope you guys enjoy this video! My 26th Birthday VLOG ♥

Thanks for all the birthday wishes on facebook & twitter everyone!  This year's birthday has been the best one I've ever had.  It was very different from my past birthday parties since I didn't have a HUGE party where we invited 20+ friends to celebrate.  I decided to just have brunch with two of my best friends in the morning (and my younger cousin) and spend the whole day with my hubby.  I guess I've changed now that I have a baby inside me!  I'm so thankful for my bestfriends, my cousin, my husband, and all of you guys that made this year's birthday extra special.

  We woke up at 11:00 and went straight to La Madeleine.  I just washed my face, brushed by teeth, and ran out the door!  I LOVE La Madeleine!  They have really good sandwiches and pastas!  I eat here atleast once a week~ hehe!  I always get the Duet Magnifique : Chicken Parisien Hot Sandwich, Tomato Basil Pesto Pasta, cup of vegetable soup. MmMmmm yum~!  After brunch, Aiden and I went to the mall to watch a movie.  We finally watched The Avengers!  It was such a great movie!  We laughed throughout the whole movie!  A lot of you guys commented on my vlog video asking if we watched it at the Stonebriar Mall.  YUP~  we moved to Texas last month to live closer to both our parents.  I wanted to live close by to my mom since I will be having a baby soon.  Aiden made steak for dinner... we just got done eatting! I am SOOOOOOOO full (so is baby Aiden hehe).  Time to wash up and goto bed.  Goodnight everyone! Love yall! ♥

Baby Haul ♥

Hey everyone!  I decided to film a "Baby Haul" video of all the things Aiden and I bought this week for the baby!  We bought most of the items shown in this video at Babies R Us.  It took us weeks and weeks looking through websites and visiting baby stores to find a theme that we liked!  I'm glad we finally found one that we both liked!  I'm not a huge fan of "blue" color, so we decided to go for a neutral theme : white/cream/beige (Mamas & Papas).  Of course we will have other colorful things around his crib like wall decorations and different colored teddy bears.  The white crib and dresser set that we ordered will arrive around May 30th, so as soon as the crib arrives I will tour you around our new place and our crib setup!  I'm sooo glad I have a HUGE family so that I can get hand-me-downs~!  Like I've mentioned in the video, the shoes and stack of clothes were clothes that my nephews wore longgg time ago!  It still looks like brand new.. with no stains at all!  I think it's nice to get hand-me-downs from family members since babies grow SOOOO fast!  Anyways.... I can't believe it's already Friday tomorrow!!!! Talk to you guys later!! Bye!

Loreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner Review ♥

Hey everyone!  In my "April Favorites" video yesterday, I showed my recent HG eyeliner that I'm currently in love with : the Loreal Carbon Black Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner.  I decided to do a seperate review just on this eyeliner to show you guys how awesome this eyeliner is.  I bought this eyeliner at Target for $8.  At first I was thinking, "That is pretty expensive for a pencil eyeliner!", but now I see why it's alittle pricey after using it.  You should be able to find this eyeliner at almost any drugstores where they sell Loreal products.  I've always been using my MAC BLACKTRACK FLUIDLINE gel eyeliner to line my eyes, because the pencils don't show up as dark and bold (and smudges).  I usually use pencil eyeliners just to line my waterline/tightline.  Using my MAC gel eyeliner takes extra time to apply since I have to use a brush, and I have to always make sure to keep my eyeliner brush clean.  This Loreal pencil is a great product to use on a daily basis, and it takes so much less time to put on!  I just have to draw one line, and it's super dark and bold.  Whenever I use my other pencil eyeliners, I have to draw 2-3 coats so that it shows up dark. 

Here is how the pencil looks like.  It has a sponge tip on the other side so that you can blend out the line to make a softer look.

It has a fine tip when you first buy it.  I tried sharpening it, but it tends to break off easily and not as pointy as when I first bought it.  Anyone that is currently using this pencil have any tips on how to sharpen this so it doesn't break off?

Here is how it looks using the Loreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner ♥ Looks like I used my favorite MAC Fluidline Gel eyeliner!

The first picture on the left is a swatch of the Loreal Eyeliner and my Estee Lauder Smoftsmudge Black eyeliner.  The Loreal one is the thicker line.  As you can see, it's highly pigmented and dark.  The picture on the right is after I washed my hands with water, and rubbed it with my fingers for over 30 seconds.  The Loreal eyeliner did not smudge as much or come off, where as the Estee lauder pencil came right off!  This pencil is highly waterproof!

There are lots of advantages of this eyeliner!  It glides on very smoothly, doesn't peel, doesn't smudge, very black, bold, precise, and waterproof!  I highly recommend this product for those that are looking for a great drugstore eyeliner!

April Favorites ♥

Thanks everyone for the congrats messages about baby Aiden~!  I can't believe it's already May~ time flies by so fast!  Soon it will be September... and baby AIden will be in my arms! I filmed a video today on my favorite beauty products for the month of April.  Two of the products mentioned were a gift from my friend when she went to Korea.  I've read on my video comments that some of my subscribers use these two products as well, so I'm guessing you can find them somewhere in the USA (maybe online)?  I will try my best ot see if I can find a website that sell these products!

BTW in the video I accidently said I use the face masks once a DAY... I meant to say once a WEEK. ♥ That would be crazy if I do it everyday! hehe

First of all, I LOVE the packaging of this lipgloss!  It has a cute "but mad looking" bunny on the top of the cap.  This was my first time ever using a Tony Moly product, and I was pretty impressed with this brand!  I'm not a huge fan of lipglosses because I don't like the texture of it on my lips.  Most of the lipglosses that I've tried feel thick and sticky.  This lipgloss on the other hand, does not leave a sticky feeling and glides on very well.  It applies sheer so I apply 2-3 coats of it.  The color from the tube looks dark orange but it doesn't look that dark when you apply it onto your lips.  It's a very pretty shimmery orange/coral color... great for the spring/summer!

Here is how the color looks from the tube.  You have to twist it from the bottom for it to come out.. like a chapstick! 

Here is how it looks on my lips.  Since my natural lip color is red, I put on some foundation on my lips before I applied the lipgoss so that the true gloss color shows.

Oh my goodness~ I am totally in LOVE with my Sonia Kashuk brushes.  I've heard a lot of great things about the Sonia Kashuk EYE MAKEUP BRUSHES, so I wanted to try them out.  Some people told me that the face brushes weren't as great...but the eye brushes are awesome!  I bought my two Sonia Kashuk brushes from target :  Large Crease Brush ($5.99), Pointy Blending Brush ($3.99).  These brushes have great quality and for a very good price.  A lot of cheap makeup brushes have bristles that are not as soft, so it pokes you and hurts when you use it.  These brushes are very soft... exactly the same as my Sigma brushes.  I highly recommend these eye makeup brushes to those who are looking for cheap/good quality brushes!

Whoa I wrote a lot today... my hands hurt from typing so much!  I will try to update my blog more often now... since I have a new pretty layout and everything! Hehe~ goodnight everyone! Muah~! ♥

It's a Boy~! ♥

I had an ultrasound this afternoon.. and my doctor told us, "Congratulations~ it's a boy!". Aiden Yunwoo 연우 it is~!  I was already expecting a boy from all the baby boy dreams that I had, so I wasn't THAT surprised when the doctor told me!  On the way to the hospital I kept telling Aiden, "It's a boy.. I'm telling you it's a boy~!".  My parents and Aiden's parents also dreamed about a baby boy (태몽). 태몽 - dreams about having a boy. In the Korean culture, elders always say that the older kid should be a son (큰아들)... so both our parents were really happy!  The elders were also saying that since this is the year of the Black Dragon, it's good luck to have a boy this year~!  Aiden kind of wanted a daughter so we are hoping that our 2nd child will be a girl~!  He is still very happy and excited to see his little "mini-me" hehe.  During the ultrasound, baby Aiden was moving around and kicking sooo much!  He was having a party inside my belly!  He was also sucking his thumb.  I read somewhere that from week 17, the baby will start to suck his thumb. It was sooo cute to see him actually doing that!  I can't wait until I see baby Aiden.... 21 weeks left until I get to hold him in my arms ♥.   Thank you ALL for the congrats messages on my facebook & twitter~!  I will show baby Aiden all the comments from you guys when he gets older! Anyways, I decided to post one pic of baby Aiden taken today! He is a healthy BIG baby at 19 weeks and 2 days!
