My New Vanity & Collection

Hey everyone! My husband finally finished making my vanity table!  It took him 8 FULL days to make it!  We bought a matching mirror at IKEA yesterday~~~ the birch wood color matches perfectly!  He designed & made everything all by himself!  Thank You Hubby!!!! Love You! Aiden's hobby is making furniture~!  On our old Boston house tour video, he also made that LONG computer table that we had~~ ^^!  There are certain products in my vanity that I only use for myself and some for my clients only. I mixed everything up together, but I know which ones are which.  The lip products in my vanity are not used on my clients.  I also have a seperate set of brushes in my traincase that I use when I am working.  The brushes shown in the video are all my personal ones.

Korean "Dearberry" Review & More!

Hey everyone!  I wanted to introduce you guys to a Korean cosmetic brand called Dearberry.  I love this brand because the price is affordable, good quality, pigmented, cute packaging, and a lot of their products smell really good!   Korean cosmetics are becoming so popular all over the world.  They don't really have any "drugstore" brands in Korea.  One of the cheaper brand is "The Face Shop", which still cost about $8 for a single eyeshadow.  A single eyeshadow/lipstick at Dearberry cost about $5~! I reviewed some more of their products on my blog, so go check it out if you want more details of any of their products! I do have one of their eyeshadows, but they are not that pigmented.. so if you guys are interested in puchasing their products I would highly recommend their cheek, lip products, and eyeliners!

Dearberry Lipsticks Review*

Hey everyone~ so like I've promised.... here is a part 2 of my Dearberry products review!  Today I will be reviewing their lipsticks!  I was also super impressed by their lipsticks as well.  Each one cost about $5.00 USD, which is the cost about the same as a drugstore lipstick.  I just checked their website and they don't have the pink packaged one anymore at the moment, but I think they will put it back up soon!  So they have two different types of lipsticks : black packing and pink packaging.  The black packaged lipsticks are slightly sheer (but very pigmented) and has a glossy finish to it.  The pink packaged lipsticks are more matte but with a slight frosty finish to it.  The black ones are good for everyday wear and has a nice smell to it.  The pink packaged ones are VERY bright, pigmented, and has a nice pop of colors, and has no smell to it (I wouldn't wear it as an everyday lipstick though).  It does transfer onto the cups, but not everything.  It stayed on my lips for a good couple of hours.  The colors are so pretty that I don't mind reapplying the lipstick after I eat and drink.

I would have to say... my favorite one is the magenta pink! BUT it is sooooo bright and pigmented... when Aiden looked at me he was like.. "whoaaaa omg that's really bright!".  What I did in this picture is I applied a little bit and blended it out with my finger (and yes it is still that pigmented even after doing that).... hehe ^^

Dearberry Eyeliners*

Hello ladies! Today I want to introduce you guys to a Korean cosmetic brand called DEARBERRY ♥.  If you are looking for an affordable, HIGH quality, awesome Korean makeup products.... Dearberry is for you!  I know a lot of you guys love and have interest in Korean makeup products.  I know Korean cosmetics can be a little pricey.  There is no "drugstore" brand in Korea.  The Face Shop is one of the cheaper Korean brands, but one single eyeshadow still cost about $8.  The single eyeshadows at Dearberry cost about $4.50 in USD.  Today I wanted to review a few eye products from this company!  I was super impressed with the quality of these products!

Rockcat Girl Liquid Eyeliner $5.90 USD

I am in love with this eyeliner.  It is very dark, dries quickly, doesn't smudge, and doesn't crack.  The tube is about 5 inches long.  I love the fine point tip because it helps me to draw a precise line and great to use for winged out eyeliner!  This product is also HIGHLY waterproof.  In the last picture down below of this product, I took a picture of my hands and the swatches after I washed my hands.  If any of you guys are looking for a cheap, high quality, and highly waterproof liquid eyeliner... this one is for you!

Miss Perfect Gel Eyeliner Pencils $4.50 USD/EACH

As soon as I swatched one of these gel eyeliners, I immediately fell in love with them.  Trust me...... you will LOVE these eyeliners!  I got five different colors!  Picture from left to right (#3 Pearl Fact Brown, #5 Pearl Fact Black, #1 Onyx, #4 Pearl Fact Grey, #2, Pearl Fact White).  Unlike many pencil eyeliners, these gel liners glide on SOOO smoothly.  I actually like these 100X better than the Urban Decay Glide on pencils.  These are also highly waterproof as well.  I washed my hands like 2 times and tried rubbing it off, but I didn't smudge or come off at all.  I had to use a eye makeup remover to take it off.  One thing to note about this is to make sure you use it gently when you are lining your eyes.  While I was swatching one of them, the tip broke a little bit because I pressed on it too hard, forgetting that it was gel and not regular pencil.  Now I have to go find a sharpener to sharpen it again. =( booo

All of these eyeliners EXCEPT for the middle Onyx one is shimmery and has glitter in it.  The brown one has gold glitter in it, the charcoal one has green glitter in it, the gray one has like blue glitter in it so the line actually looks kind of navy when swatched, and of course the white one has silver glittery in it!  My favorite one is the white one... LOVE it!  It looks so pretty when used to line my lower last line.  It gives a nice pop and brightens my eyes =)

Update in Life ♥

Okay... so I'm trying to keep one of my New Year's resolutions for the year 2013... to UPDATE MY BLOG more often!  It seems like I haven't been writing in my blog for a really long time, so I have so much things to update you guys of my life! Two weeks ago we celebrated Yunwoo's 100th day at our place.  It's a Korean tradition to celebrate this day.  In Korea, you are actually one year older than you are in America.... so I am turning 27 this year in America and 28 in Korean age.  This is because Koreans actually count the days the baby was inside the mother's womb.  Since the baby is inside the womb for 9 months and comes out, 3 months later (which is about 100 days) the baby basically turns one year old.  On 100th day, you invite your friends and family for food/dessert/dduk "떡" (rice cake).  My mom and Aiden's mom worked SOOO hard this day making and preparing ALLLL the food to feed the 35 guests!  <3<3

My poor baby is sick =(.... he has a runny nose!  Everytime he sneezes ALL these yellow mucus comes out of his nose =(.. I wish he can just blow his nose.  It hurts me so much to hear him congested and not being able to sleep. Hope you fell better soon Yunwoo!

It was my bestfriend's birthday 2 days ago!  She just turned 26 (one year younger than me).  It's sooo weird that she is getting OLD! I met her when she was 20 and I was 21, so she use to always ask me if she can borrow my ID to go clubbing lol... We first met because of my husband Aiden.  They use to work together at a Korean bakery.  She just moved from California and didn't know a lot of people here, so my husband told me to try to become friends with her.  We got really close because we also ended up going to the same University.  Now we are BESTFRIENDS.. and she was also my maid of honor!

Relationship Advice ♥

Hey loves!  I decided to film a video sharing some relationship advice that has helped build our relationship healthier and stronger.  Aiden and I have been together 9 years (married for almost 2 years)... and had our ups and downs.  These are some things that also helped reduce our fights and arguments.  When we use to date we argued atleast 3 times a month.. but now after we got married we never fight.  (maybe once in blue moon)

Please note that every guy is different.  Some things that get Aiden really mad might not bother some guys at all.  =)
